Paris

 Paris has long been one of my favourite city break destinations. It's an incredibly beautiful and cosmopolitan city that for Londoner's is only a hop, skip and jump away by train. I never tire of visiting, as there are always so many areas I've never visited before, or places I'd happily go to again and again. Some of the most famous landmarks in the world are in this city, making it one of the most visited destinations in the world.

My Paris must-sees: The Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame and a stroll through the streets of Le Marais. 

 Copenhagen

 I fell head over heels for Copenhagen when I visited last year. It's a green city with beautiful scenery, friendly people and lots to explore. Cycling in my opinion is the only way to truly see this city (24 hour bike rental costs around £10-15 per day) and with cycling lanes as big as pavements it's an incredibly safe way to explore.

My Copenhagen must-sees: Canal ride around Nyhavn, trying a Smørrebrød and browsing all the amazing Danish homeware - my favourite shop is HAY. 


Lisbon

 I feel like Lisbon's popularity has been growing over the last year, and it's somewhere I'd wholeheartedly recommend. It's a lovely city that is easily accessible on foot, with lots of culture and buzz. The abundance of fresh fish there means dining out is a dream and the hilly landscape of the city means the architecture and views are truly breathtaking.

My Lisbon must-sees: Stroll up to Sao Jorge castle to admire the views, exploring Alfama and a trip to the Time Out Food Market.


New York

 Who doesn't want to go to New York? I think this city is on everyone's wish list, and having been there three times I have no doubt as to why. This is such a beautiful and exciting city to visit which caters to so many different interests - it has history and architecture aplenty, as well as amazing shopping and huge portions of delicious food.

My New York must-sees: The Statue of Liberty and Freedom Tower, a walk along the High Line with brunch, and endless hours lost in Central Park. 


San Francisco

 Saving the best for last, San Francisco is my favourite city in the world (so far). It's an amazing, vibrant city with a plethora of areas to explore - each with their own unique vibe. The city's hilly landscape means that whilst it can be exhausting to walk around, the views from the top of every hill are worth it.

My San Francisco must-sees: Cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge, spend a sunny afternoon in Dolores Park and go see the seals at Pier 39.
