L - R: Inge Nude, Cocoricorail, Berry Nice, Pink Twice
I normally like to consider myself as someone whose quite up to date with the latest beauty releases, however I think being absorbed in my new job recently has meant that I missed the memo when Bourjois released their 12 hr Aqua Blush range.
The Aqua Blush* range has been designed to boost the skin's natural radiance with sheer, fresh colour. The blushes are made from a water-light gel formula which leaves skin with a refreshed bare skin sensation that provides an all-day (12 hour) glow. The range comes in 4 beautiful sorbet shades that differ in brightness but are all subtle, buildable colours - Inge Nude, Cocoricorail, Pink Twice and Berry Nice. These blushes are light in texture and the shades are all a little paler than they seem from the packaging, which is something worth knowing if you're looking to purchase.
Recommended use is to apply a small amount onto cheeks using your finger, then spread the product out and tap to bring out the colour. The blushes blend beautifully onto the skin and add such a fresh, radiant and best of all natural colour to the cheeks. At a recent Bourjois event, the makeup artist told me that it can also look pretty to pop some of their powder blush over the top too.
I've never been one for cream or liquid blushes, so it speaks volumes that I'm a fan of these. Their wear time is decent, although it's not quite 12 hours and not as good as powder blushes, but rather than just turning patchy on my skin like so many cream blushes have in the past, these gel based blushes simply just disappear over time meaning it's easy to touch up later in the day.
I'm delighted with this range and would definitely recommend checking them out - they'd be perfect on holiday with a tan to add a natural, radiant glow. They're currently on offer at Boots for 3 for 2 at £8.99 each.
Have you tried any of the Bourjois Aqua Blush range?

I don't actually like the look of these that much, as they look a little too liquid, but I'll have to try them to be sure! x

I have Inge-nude and it doesn't show up on me at all, I really should have gone for one of the brighter ones by the look of your swatches!

I haven't even tried out any liquid blushers but they seem like a really good idea for a longer lasting blusher, great post!

I might have to try these out! I've never been a fan of liquid/crème blushes either so trying something new in my makeup routine is pretty scary for me! I'll have to buy one and see how it goes. Great review x

I never like creams either but the look of these kind of remind me of the pricier watercolour blushes? I wonder if that is what they're going for... I should give these a swatch next time I'm in Boots!

I missed the memo on these too - the shades look absolutely lovely. I want all of them, such pretty colours for summer. I'm a massive fan of liquid blushes, might have to pop into boots soon!

These aren't as pigmented as I imagined they'd be - however they're super pretty! It's good to hear that they have a good wear time, even if it's not quite as long as billed. Maybe I'll have to pick some up, as I seem to have missed the memo on these, too!

I haven't tried these, but it is mainly because I am so comfortable with powder blushes. I could just imagine myself applying too much and it ending up a disaster. :) But the shades are lovely, :3
