Before the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette hit the scene at the start of the year, it had been a long time since I'd last bought an eyeshadow palette. For the past few years I've had my boyfriend whispering in my ear "you'll buy it and never use it" and when I look at my collection of Naked palettes gathering dust in my drawer I hate to admit that he's right.

With that being said, sometimes the urge is too big to resist, which is what happened when this delightful pink Too Faced palette entered my sights. Too Faced are absolutely killing it at the moment, and this palette was not one to be ignored. The palette is a beautiful candy-coated confection of heart-shaped delights with 16 matte and shimmer shades in cool pops of colour, sugary brights and beautiful go-to neutrals all infused with a chocolate scented cocoa powder formula. Need I say more?

With the exception of the two pink shades which I'm never going to wear, the palette has a stunning collection of wearable shades that are perfect for casual day looks to sultry evening looks. My particular favourites are Molasses Chip, Satin Sheets and Dark Truffle which are both beautifully shimmery shades that really enhance my green-brown eyes. The shadows are perfectly formulated being both highly pigmented and blendable and are definitely comparable in quality to that of the Urban Decay Naked palettes.

Whilst the size of the palette means it's not one I'm going to carry around with me on an every day basis, it is the perfect palette for travelling as it has such a good spectrum of colours which allows for a variety of makeup looks to be achieved. I'll definitely be taking it on holiday with me later this year as I'm certain it'll provide me with more than enough shades to tickle my fancy.

The palette can be picked up at Debenhams or on the Too Faced website and it retails for between £37 - £39.
