Back in August of last year, Miu Miu released their first ever fragrance. For a brand that's been around for over 20 years fuelling our desire for beautiful handbags and accessories, it's surprising that this is their first fragrance launch. Nevertheless, I was hooked from the moment I first spritzed the scent during a Selfridges shopping trip and was overjoyed to receive it for Christmas from my sister.

The scent is absolutely beautiful - a soft, floral fragrance of real jasmine and rose absolute set against a deep, earth-toned background of Akigalawood. It's both feminine and sensual and feels like a timeless scent which you'd expect from a brand like Miu Miu.

The bottle itself is darling, it's soft blue base with cherry red lid is fun and stylish, and would make the prettiest accompaniment to any dressing table. I love this fragrance and believe that Miu Miu have absolutely nailed their first fragrance release, I'm excited to see what they come up with next. Miu Miu's perfume is readily available in department stores like House of Fraser and John Lewis, with 30ml costing £48.
