2015 is over and it really flew by. I mentioned in my last post what a positive year 2015 was for me, and I'm excited and hopeful that 2016 will be just as good. Like most people, I've got a few hopes for 2016 which I love to document on my blog - mainly because it's great to look at in a years time to see how I got on. I don't like to think of these as resolutions, as I find that too much pressure - these are merely my 2016 wishes.
01. Travel more
Like so many people, I want to continue to travel at every available opportunity this year. I kicked off the New Year with a bang in New York, and already have a trip to Lisbon planned for the end of the month. Last year I travelled in 8 out of the 12 months and really hope that this is a continuing theme in my life.
02. Work On Loving Myself
I have a real love-hate relationship with myself which each year seems to be something I want to rectify but never fully manage. I don't eat particularly well and I don't exercise much, if at all. Irrespective of how this makes me feel about my physical self, it does absolutely zero for my mental self. I want 2016 to be the year I make changes, even if they're small.
03. Help Others
Living in London, life is fast paced. I'm into work early, back late and feel like I have no time to do anything at all. With that being said, I want to start giving up some of the little time I have to help someone else. I'd love to volunteer at an elderly care home or soup kitchen to do some good and learn from others.
04. Learn A New Skill
I would love to continue learning and developing myself, and would like to make it my challenge this year to do something totally different. Whether that's learning another language, starting piano lessons or writing a children's book (yes, really) - I want to look back at my year and feel a sense of pride for achieving something I never thought I could do.
What are your 2016 wishes?
I really identify with your second wish: working in loving myself. 2015 was a really tough year for me but I'm starting to make changes which I am documenting over in my blog.

Best of luck with all your resolutions! I would love to travel more this year too - although I'm in uni at the moment so don't have that much time or money! xx
