Despite having blogged for over two years, I'm still coming face to face with great quality brands I've never heard of before. I love that blogging gives me the opportunity to try so many different products that may ordinarily pass me by because they're not in the 'mainstream'. Sabon is a brand that falls into this category.

Sabon originated in Israel, although they are now widely found in US and The Netherlands. Not so long ago they came over to the UK with their very own store nestled on Neal Street in Covent Garden. The brand began making handmade soaps based on a 70 year old Australian formula, but nowadays specialise in developing products for the body that are beautifully packaged, high quality and use natural ingredients.

Lavender Apple Body Scrub*
I'm particular with my body scrubs, and this is just the type I like. It contains sea salt, enriched with natural oils and vitamin E which blend together to create this deliciously fresh and fruity smelling scrub. It's a gentle sea salt that removes dead skin cells and renews the skin, leaving it feeling super silky and smooth. It feels incredibly luxurious on the skin and leaves a soft oil in it's wake which keeps skin feeling moisturised and gorgeously soft. It's scent is heavenly, and mixes soft lavender with touches of green apple which really lingers on the skin after use.

Clear Dream Shower Oil*
I've never used a shower oil before so was really intrigued by this product. It's a unique liquid soap that works to deeply moisturise and smooth the skin. It's rich in essential olive, avocado, jojoba and wheat germ oils which work to respect the natural PH of the skin. It's also full to the brim with Omega 3, 6, 7, 9 and vitamins A and E. As olive oil is rich in antioxidants which protect and moisturise the skin, this shower oil feels like the big sister to regular shower products and goes the extra mile to leave the skin feeling amazing after use.

I've absolutely adored using these Sabon products and always look forward to hopping in the shower as a result. Having surveyed their website, they feel like a grown up version of Lush and The Body Shop and I'm desperate to try some more of their products (particularly their bath bombs, my weakness). Their Christmas range is launching this month and I'm super excited to see what they have in store, I've no doubt they'd make gorgeous gifts.
